Jessica Biel is a well known American actress and model. She was born
in Ely, Minnesota on March 3rd, 1982. She is best known for a role in
a "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake and her time portraying Mary Camden
on the hit television show "7th Heaven."
She started training to become a singer soon after she moved to
Colorado with her family when she was very young. Jessica appeared in
several musicals during this period, including "Annie" and "The Sound
of Music."
This all changed when Jessica attended the International Modeling and
Talent Association Convention when she was twelve years old. This led
to several high profile modeling gigs and her eventual casting on "7th
Heaven" when she was 14,
The next year she started acting in films, first appearing with Peter
Fonda in the Golden Globe winning "Ulee's Gold." After her stint on
"7th Heaven" was over in 2002 she began her film career in earnest,
appearing in many movies such as "The Rules of Attraction", "Blade:
Trinity" and "Stealth."
Her film career really started taking off when she appeared as a
duchess in the 2006 film "The Illusionist." Later that year she
appeared in "Home of the Brave" which addressed the topic of the Iraq
war. 2007 had her starring opposite Adam Sandler in the smash hit "I
Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry."
On the modeling side of things, Jessica became a spokesmodel for
L'Oreal Cosmetics in 2002. She also caused quite a stir in 2000 by
appearing topless in Gear magazine when she was just seventeen years
old.
Romantically, she has been linked to many well known men, including
Justin Timberlake and Derek Jeter. She also had a five year
relationship with actor Chris Evans.
When she is not acting, Jessica likes to hike, play soccer, and do
yoga. She's also known for participating in charity work.
